Samilla Macedo is a Senior Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field. She is currently working as a Tech Lead at Capim, where she is responsible for leading the Engineering team. Samilla was part of the founding team at Capim and helped build the Engineering team from scratch. She started the project in a monolithic architecture using Ruby on Rails and Heroku infrastructure. Prior to her current role, Samilla worked as a Software Engineer at Revelo. At Revelo, she continued to work with Ruby on Rails and participated in the development of applications with both monolithic and microservices architectures. She also improved her knowledge in front-end frameworks such as Vuejs and used technologies and tools such as PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, and Heroku. Samilla holds a degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Control and Automation Engineering from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), where she graduated in 2018. Her tech stack includes Ruby and Frontend, and she is always looking to expand her knowledge and skills in the field. Samilla is a dedicated and hardworking professional who is passionate about software engineering and building great products.
