Samir Sahoo is an experienced technology and business leader with over 28 years of experience in the data and advanced analytics field. As the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Aptus Data Labs, he is responsible for solving problems in the domains of supply chain, manufacturing, Industry 4.0, banking and finance, retail and CPG, and healthcare/pharma using data, cloud, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies. Samir has a proven track record of delivering strategic solutions, products, and services across various industries, including supply chain, manufacturing, CPG, and healthcare/pharma. He is skilled in strategy, solutions, products, data engineering, analytics, AI, big data, cloud, business intelligence, and automation. Prior to his role at Aptus Data Labs, Samir worked at Hewlett Packard as the Retail Vertical Head and Practice Leader for Business Intelligence Solutions. During his time there, he grew the Business Intelligence practice from 40 to 700+ in India center since 2006 and was part of Knightsbridge Inc & HP integration enabling setup successful high quality and cost-competitive global delivery teams while bringing in significant operational efficiencies. He also managed multiple complex and large engagements ranging from Master Plan to BI implementation and support for Consumer Industries/Retail, Retail & Investment Banking, CME (+Telecom), Healthcare and Neoview Product Engineering & Platform migration. Samir holds a Master in Computer Application degree from the University of North Bengal and a Master of Science degree in Statistics from Sambalpur University. He is skilled in AI, data science, big data, integration, and testing.
