Samta Sharma is a highly accomplished AVP of Technology with nearly 19 years of experience in software project, product, machine learning, data analysis and engineering, cloud-based apps, quality management, application development, agile, and release management. She is a certified data science and product management professional with expertise in multi-cloud computing in GCP/VMware and ML/AL, including deep learning in Python with feature engineering. Samta has a hands-on approach to full-cycle development, technology problem-solving lead, and managing end-to-end project planning and implementation from scope management to quality management in line with international guidelines and norms. Her current focus is on setting up teams for machine learning and data analysis scalable products on cloud platforms and working on data engineering. She has led on-shore and off-shore cross-functional teams and reported milestone progress to executive teams and stakeholders with the assurance of appropriate phase-gate achievement and exit criteria. Samta is an expert in setting up a new product development team across the globe and handling successful on-time/on-budget releases of large software projects. Her core strength lies in establishing engineering and software development, QA strategies, laying out SCRUM practices, and teams. She is a certified CSM and Operational Excellence Manager. In her current role as AVP of Technology at Optimal Virtual Employee, Samta is responsible for leading the technology team, setting up the technology roadmap, and ensuring the successful delivery of all technology projects. Prior to joining Optimal Virtual Employee, she was the Director of Technology, Data Science at Open Health Systems Laboratory and a Data Science Consultant at Aviconn. Samta holds an EPGDIB from IIFT, an M.Tech. from MANIT, and a BE from MANIT. She also has a Certificate in Data Science from INSAID.
