Samuel HyunGyu Kim is a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at Blind, where he uses his skills to connect people and technology. Samuel is passionate about software engineering and is always eager to learn new technologies and systems to achieve his goals. In his previous role at Nordstrom, Samuel was responsible for building React/Node apps from scratch for marketing teams. He also managed the full CICD pipeline with Kubernetes on AWS and handled SEO and Google Analytics and Marketing tool management on Nordstrom.com. Samuel also created microservices in AWS Lambda, including data streaming to Kafka and built Salesforce Marketing Cloud Frontend and Pipelines. At Carpool Agency, Samuel led the Facebook Analytics for Apps Marketing Site project as a Software Developer Lead. Samuel has a strong educational background, having completed a Certificate in Engineering Leadership from the University of Washington in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same university, which he obtained in 2015. Samuel began his academic journey at Bellevue College, where he earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science in 2013.
