Eng Manager at Microsoft, Samya has a diverse experience of working in domains like E-Commerce, Internet scale, and traditional products companies. Samya's key expertise lies in making, mentoring, and managing highly successful teams, building big data projects for analytics, and architecting/implementing real-time distributed, high available, and scalable systems. She has a proven track record of defining product and engineering road-maps, which have helped her organizations achieve their goals. Prior to Microsoft, Samya worked as an Associate Director at Myntra, where she led multiple teams for developing big data scale pipelines and applications, and managed business stakeholder relationships across different groups. She also worked as a Senior Development Engineering Manager/Architect at Symantec. Samya holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Kalyani University, Kalyani, and completed her schooling from Hare School. Her tech stack includes Big Data and Senior Software Engineering.
