Samyak Mehta is a software engineer with over 9 years of relevant experience in designing and developing software solutions across domains like security, e-commerce, and media recommendation. He is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer - Systems at Freshworks. Samyak has a diverse range of experience in various industries, including government, sports, and advertising. He has worked with the Government of Maharashtra, India, where he devised solutions and algorithms to use on-ground survey data of media channel consumption by the citizens of Maharashtra. He also developed a web application to assist the Government officials in reaching out to the desired audience with relevant policies. Samyak helped Statmetrix, a sports startup, to set up Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery to ensure faster development of the product. He also architected and implemented a part of the core Cloud solution for the product. Samyak is also involved in an initiative called Zer0, Ad Campaign Planning Solution, intended to build software systems to recommend tailored and optimized advertising campaigns for large size companies. The long-term vision is to build an AI-based generic platform to design faster and optimized campaigns. Samyak has worked with companies like Cimpress and Seclore, where he led small teams to design systems and deliver products. As a Lead Software Engineer at Cimpress, he was responsible for leading a team to build and support a unified Product Management and Merchandising platform for businesses. He also ensured technical excellence across software components built by the team members spanning across technologies like Java, NodeJS, ReactJS, Serverless, Caching frameworks, etc. Samyak holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.
