Sanath Sastry is a highly experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field. Currently working at StudyMode, he is responsible for building machine learning regression models to predict delivery times of ecommerce customer orders using technologies such as Apache Spark, Pandas, Sklearn, Spark ML Lib, Numpy, and Python. Sanath is also an expert in optimising e-commerce search engines by ranking search results using Learning to Rank, Search Query Modelling, Bayesian AB Testing with Multi-Armed Bandits (LETOR, RankLib, XG-Boost, Elasticsearch, NLP). He has a strong background in ML, Search, Spark, NLP, Scikit, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, test, Python, Pandas, and Elastic Search. Prior to his current role, Sanath worked at Zilingo as a Data Scientist and at Delhivery as a Data Scientist - Intern. He has also completed his Master's Degree in Transport and Logistics from Technical University Munich.
