Sanath Shetty is a certified Azure Solutions Architect with over 8 years of relevant experience in architecting cloud solutions and DevOps solutions for enterprises. He has hands-on experience working with major cloud service providers like Azure, IBM, and others. Sanath is skilled in various cloud services including Kubernetes, VMs/Web apps, Storage (Azure Storage/File Share), Database (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos), Caching (Redis), Networking (VNET, Traffic Manager, AzFirewall, Loadbalancer), Monitoring (Log Analytics, Application Insights), Secret Management (Azure Keyvault/Hashicorp Vault), Data Platform apps (ADF, Azure Databricks), Serverless apps (Azure Function, Azure Logic Apps, ACI), and automating Azure infrastructure deployments with cloud-native tools including ARM Template, Terraform, etc. Sanath has experience with cloud-based tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab for creating CI/CD pipelines, Git, Istio, Helm Charts, etc. He has also helped in hiring world-class cloud talents for a successful cloud adoption journey at an organization. In his previous role as an Associate Director at UBS, Sanath played a key role in helping the bank with the cloud adoption journey, which involved migrating existing and building new solutions on Azure Cloud. He was responsible for creating enterprise patterns, models, designs, standards, and monitoring and identifying leading technology trends. Sanath has also worked with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, along with tools like Istio/Helm, Serverless PaaS offerings (Azure Function, Azure Logic Apps, ACI), and Data Platform Apps (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, etc.). He has implemented DevOps best practices, pipelines (Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Git, etc.), and worked with cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM or equivalent), Azure CLI, Scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash), Markup languages (YAML, JSON).
