Sanchari Dan is a Senior Data Scientist with over 5 years of experience in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). She is currently working as a Research Engineer in Prof. Tan Ah Hwee's group at Singapore Management University, where she is researching and developing novel methods for Knowledge Representation and Understanding using NLP, ART, and Transformer-based approaches. Before joining Singapore Management University, Sanchari worked as a Data Scientist at PwC US AI Labs, where she focused on research and development of AI technologies, services, and solutions to enable PwC and its clients to automate and transform their business processes. During her tenure at PwC, Sanchari gained expertise in various NLP concepts and tasks, including NER, Entity Coreference, Relation Extraction, Question Answering Systems, Contextual Text Embeddings, and Transformer Models. She also worked on projects involving TensorFlow and PyTorch, which helped her gain knowledge of these technologies. Sanchari holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. She is deeply passionate about expanding the depth of her knowledge and using technology and data to bring about impactful changes in people's lives.
