Sanchit Alekh is a Senior Data Engineer at Rubinstein & Schmiedel AG, where he has been working since August 2021. He is responsible for software and API development, Kubernetes deployments and administration, MLOps, and automated provisioning and Infrastructure-as-Code on their own-premises hardware and Azure cloud. Prior to this, Sanchit worked as a Big Data Engineer at Data Reply DE, where he was involved in a range of cloud and distributed computing projects. He was part of a team that developed an enterprise chatbot platform on the Microsoft Azure Cloud using Kubernetes, Terraform, Bot Framework, and Microsoft Cognitive Services. Sanchit also has experience as a Data Scientist Intern at AUDI AG, where he built a data analytics platform for smart factories and data-driven production. He pursued his MSc. in Software Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, where his coursework and research were focused on Data and Information Management. He worked under Prof. Christoph Quix at the chair of Databases and Information Systems. Sanchit's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (with Honours) in Information Technology from IIIT and a High School diploma from Delhi Public School. He also completed several IDEA League Summer Schools in Ethics of new Biotechnologies, Responsible Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, and Empowering Imagination from Delft University of Technology and Politecnico di Milano. Sanchit has a strong technical background in Data Engineering, infrastructure, Kubernetes, Azure, Research Scientist, Terraform, Big Data, and Data Scientist. He has relevant experience of 4.54 years in the field.
