Sanchit Bansal is a highly motivated and passionate DevOps Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in developing scalable and high-performance end-to-end solutions, architecting production deployments, and other DevOps solutions. Sanchit is a quick learner and always looks to grab something new, never compromising on the quality of the product. Currently working at Zscaler as a DevOps/SRE, Sanchit is responsible for writing infrastructure as code (IAC), orchestrating AWS infra using Terraform, configuring machines using SaltStack, and managing container orchestration through Kubernetes. He has also built an in-house tool for continuous delivery using Django, MCollective, and MySQL. Sanchit has extensive experience working with AWS services such as Auto Scaling, EC2, VPC, S3, ECS, Route53, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, and Direct Connect. He is also well-versed in Kubernetes services such as Helm, Cluster Autoscaler, HPA, Ingress Controller, Network policies, and CoreDNS. Sanchit has worked with frameworks such as Django, Flask, Celery, and Activiti and has experience with logging, monitoring, and analytics tools such as Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana, Centreon, and Datadog. He has experience with big data technologies such as Cloudera, Kafka, Hadoop, sentry, kerberos cluster, camus, and hue. Sanchit has previously worked with Paytm Payments Bank as a DevOps Technical Lead and Senior DevOps Engineer. He designed and automated the bank's infrastructure from scratch, implemented Kubernetes for automated deployments and container orchestration, and built highly available and scalable services/infra to ensure nearly 100% uptime. Sanchit has also worked on security audit reviews, patching vulnerabilities, antivirus agents setup, Dome9 integrations, certs management, docker registry upgrade, and artifactory upgrade. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Thapar University.
