Sanchit Hira is a highly skilled CV/ML Software Engineer at Apple, with a passion for Computer Vision and Deep Learning. With 3.19 years of relevant experience, Sanchit has a strong background in AI/ML engineering and has worked on several challenging projects in the field. Currently, Sanchit is serving as the Chief Design Engineer at Inspired Karters FS, where he manages the team on the technical front, coordinating the four subsystems Chassis & Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, Powertrain and Electronics & Computing. His exceptional leadership skills and technical expertise have helped the team to achieve significant milestones. Prior to his current role, Sanchit worked as a Research Intern at Leichtweiß Institute, TU Braunschweig, where he contributed to the development of a strongly coupled CFD-CSD system in OpenFOAM. He also performed simulation of waves and studied the loads generated on offshore structures. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Robotics & Intelligent Systems Lab, BITS Pilani, where he used Genetic Algorithms for motion planning to improve motion stability and reduce joint loads while handling a statically unbalanced weight. Sanchit holds a Master's degree in Robotics - Perception & Cognitive Systems from The Johns Hopkins University, which he completed in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he completed in 2018. Sanchit's technical skills include ML, Software Engineering, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, AI, Research Scientist, Object detection, and Object Detection.
