Sandeep Devaram is a seasoned product management professional with over 11 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently the Cofounder and CPO at CoLearn, an edtech startup that aims to revolutionize the way students learn by providing personalized and engaging learning experiences. Prior to this, Sandeep was the Director of Product Management at BYJU'S, where he played a key role in launching and managing all the company's products. He was responsible for the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes/KPIs of the BYJU'S app, and also created a go-to-market strategy for all the company's products. Sandeep was instrumental in scaling the product and technology teams from 0 to 100 employees, and established and mentored a team of product managers, setting up best practices. He delivered key wins in terms of growth, engagement, and revenue by initiating and executing features such as gamification of learning, daily rewards, and in-app ratings. Before BYJU'S, Sandeep worked at Zynga as a Senior Analyst/Product Manager, where he was the head of analytics for the company's flagship games, Farmville and Farmville2. He owned insight generation for these games and aided data-driven decision making through actionable insights. Sandeep developed a breeding game feature that increased user engagement by 5% and conceptualized and launched a mini dart game for Farmville as a sink feature to balance the game's sub-economy, decreasing economy hoarding by 6%. He also led and trained a team of product managers and analysts. Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has a strong tech stack that includes product management and testing. Sandeep's key initiatives and contributions have helped him win several awards, including the Emerging Star, Samurai, and FV2-CEO Awards.
