Sandeep Karape is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 11 years of experience in manual testing, OSS/BSS, mobile application testing, STB, IPTV, web application/website testing, API testing, recommendation engine testing, and working in the telecom and video broadcasting domain. He holds a B.tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working as a Manager at Vodafone Shared Services India as an individual contributor in a team of 60 who are testing the Vodafone TV product, a new generation OTT video streaming platform. As a Manager, Sandeep's main responsibilities include leading open devices testing, validating business requirement and product design documents to design test cases for various features of the Vodafone TV platform, executing test cases, performing end-to-end validation of the product as per the company's standards, and performing API testing for validation of various backend components and databases. Prior to joining Vodafone, Sandeep worked as a Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Accenture, where he gained experience in integration verification validation testing (IVVT), operational support system (OSS), interlock testing, and regression testing. He was also certified in mainframes and managed all testing activities, including test planning, business requirements analysis, test script writing, and testing tools QC and AIT. Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the College of Engineering and completed his HSC from Vivekananda College. He is skilled in various areas, including test, product design, mobile, backend, web, software engineering, and integration. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Sandeep is a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual who can lead and manage testing activities efficiently.
