Sandeep Manthi is a professional Java developer with over 8 years of experience in developing highly scalable and highly available backend systems. He completed his post-graduation and graduation from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Sandeep has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Oracle Financial Software, Amazon, and currently, the d. e. shaw group. At Myntra, Sandeep worked as a Senior Software Engineer where he developed a web app for tracking merchandise through various stages of manufacturing using its barcode. He also migrated all cloud storage for partner applications inside Myntra from Amazon S3 to Azure Blob and developed a web app for enabling partners to book a slot in Myntra's warehouses and inward their inventory. During his two-year stint at Amazon, Sandeep worked as a Software Development Engineer in the FireTV Catalog Vending team. He designed and developed one of the next-generation services for FireTV, which is now providing content metadata and image metadata in multiple locales across the world. Sandeep honed his sense of production issues that can occur in a large-scale distributed system and how to deal with them with on-calls. Sandeep has a passion for solving new problems and tackling them with innovative approaches. He is proficient in Java, Spring, Big Data, Python, Azure, Redis, Pandas, and ETL.
