He is currently the Head of Financial Infrastructure at Stripe, responsible for constructing financial infrastructure that allows the company to monitor every dollar processed. Prior to his current role, Sandeep was the Director of Finance and Enterprise Engineering at Netflix, where he was responsible for building products for content, legal, and finance teams. He enabled strategic decision-making by building a modern accounting/licensing platform that tracked all costs related to content on Netflix.com. Using advanced data science and machine learning models, he optimized various events in the life cycle of producing a movie to make productions efficient. Sandeep also built legal and enterprise engineering tools to run the business. Before his role as Director, Sandeep was the Manager of Financial Engineering at Netflix. He was responsible for finance applications and building great products for forecasting, payments, and accounting systems. Sandeep built multiple internal products that enabled Netflix services to be launched in multiple countries and a global content licensing platform that allowed Netflix to track pay and account for every piece of content across the globe. He built a great team of product managers and engineers to build world-class products. Sandeep holds a BE in Electronics from the University of Mumbai and an Accounting Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. His tech stack includes infrastructure, machine learning, and data science. Sandeep has over 20 years of relevant experience in the industry and is highly skilled in financial engineering, product management, and software development.
