Sandeep Mukhopadhyay is a highly experienced software craftsman with over 14 years of experience in building highly scalable data systems using Java, J2EE, BigData, and NoSQL technologies. He is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of FreightFox, where he is responsible for hiring software craftsmen. Sandeep is passionate about making meaning out of data that may look unusable. He has co-founded two startups in AdTech and Marketing Tech - Agnie Media Software and PivoxIO. Sandeep has also worked as an Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer at Zeotap. Sandeep has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Information Technology from Army Institute of Technology, University of Pune. He also has a Science degree from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Sandeep's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, AI, Backend, NoSQL, SQL, AWS, Java, Data Engineering, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, Kafka, Spring, Python, and Apache Hive. He has written a Distributed AdServer(HTTP Server) from scratch which can scale horizontally with auto deployable model using HTTP-Core and ZeroMQ(Brokerless Queue). Sandeep's specialties include development of highly scalable data platforms, backend engineering, BigData, user stores, internet advertising, marketing, growth hacking, and data engineering. He has also dabbled his hands in the restaurant business and was a partner in 'Bay of Bengal' for Bengali cuisine restaurant located in Dyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, FC Road, Pune in 2009.
