Sandeep Singh is a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on Backend Development, DevOps, and Data Engineering. He is currently working with FamPay as part of the Engineering Team, building a Neo Bank. Sandeep completed his undergraduate degree in Information Technology from IIIT Allahabad in 2019. Prior to joining FamPay, Sandeep worked with Spinny as a Data Engineer where he developed multiple RESTful APIs and gRPC APIs to deliver results of recommendation, price engine, and lead scoring. He also developed and designed data ingesting and transformation service for lead prioritization using Kafka consumers. Sandeep was responsible for developing a full end-to-end ETL pipeline for the organization for all the data in the organization using AWS Glue, Data Migration Service, S3, and Redshift. He also developed multiple transformation scripts to help business teams ingest and combine data from multiple sources to single data source, removing tech team dependency. Sandeep designed business dashboards pipeline using Microservice architecture, improving the turn around time for analysis by more than 95% (from 1-2 days to <1 hour). Sandeep has also worked with Truebil as an Associate Data Engineer where he worked on the data science team that developed and maintained the pricing algorithms of cars. He decreased the response time of the price engine (generate prices based on KNN algorithm) API by 50% by optimizing db queries, data prefetching, and using OOP. Sandeep also mentored an intern in the Data Science team.
