Sandeep Sudarshan is a seasoned product development leader with over 14 years of experience in building scalable platforms in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision. He has a proven track record of building top-notch teams of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Technical Product Managers from the ground up in startups and large companies. Currently, Sandeep is a Member of the aim leaders council, where he leverages his diverse experience in customer interactions and with business stakeholders across geographies. He is a technical strategist, program/project manager, and delivery driver who has worked across various domains such as Telecom, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, ERP, Supply Chain Management, Retail, and Capital Markets. Sandeep has a strong technical background and is proficient in technologies and tools such as Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Google Cloud Platform, Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Python, and MongoDB. He has also worked on various domain-specific technologies such as BERT, NLU, language models, and Spark. In his previous role as a Product Development Leader for the Global AI Accelerator (GAIA) at Ericsson R&D, Sandeep was responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic leadership to the AI roadmap. He conceptualized and delivered strategic ML projects that provided medium and long-term value for Ericsson and its stakeholders. He was responsible for end-to-end stakeholder engagement across geographies and mentored and managed a team of data scientists, data engineers, and technical product managers. Sandeep has also worked as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Graphene Services Pte Ltd, where he built the AI practice from scratch to a team of 20 data scientists and data engineers. He was responsible for research, design, and development of multi-lingual AI platforms to provide unique insights to companies in the areas of competitive intelligence, brand marketing, and consumer conversations. Sandeep holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. He also completed his Pre-University College education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from Marimallappa's High School, Mysore.
