Sandeep Thakur is a visionary product leader and entrepreneur with over 9 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. Currently, he is the Founder & CEO of Alpinehash, Inc., an early stage technology venture located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sandeep is passionate about exploring uncharted and quickly evolving domains and empowering people to create, innovate, and express themselves. With a belief in the Internet of Everything (IoE), Sandeep is interested in new decentralized business models using utility tokens and non-utility tokens in digital communities enabled by blockchains, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts. He has explored distributed systems and fault tolerance, cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and homomorphic encryption. Sandeep is also advising firms on fundraising strategies based on ICOs. Sandeep has a strong belief that humanity will move out from Earth and become an interplanetary species in the next 40 years, creating tremendous opportunities in the Inspace and Planetary space sector. He has explored project ideas in space technology sector and believes that robotics, AI, MR/VR/AR will play a very important role in this seismic shift. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Sandeep is also the Vice President of HEC Alumni US West Coast Chapter. HEC Alumni network is one of the largest global alumni networks in the world with more than 60,000 alumni in over 152 countries worldwide. Sandeep is responsible for leading and implementing various initiatives and programs by HEC Foundation, HEC Alumni, and HEC Paris. Sandeep has a Master's in Business Administration from HEC, Paris, with a specialization in Strategy & Finance. He also holds a Digital Transformation Certificate in Digital Strategy and Marketing from HEC, Paris. Sandeep completed his Bachelor/Master in Technology in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has also completed a Summer Project in Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, CPG, ZMP based Biped Walking Mechanism from Nara Institute of Science and Technology.
