Sandeepa Hande is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in Product Engineering and Data Engineering, Systems Design, System Integration, and Analytics. She has worked in the domains of FinTech and Healthcare space and has played technical leadership roles in startup, mid-sized, and large organizations building large-scale high availability distributed systems for complex web, mobile, enterprise, and cloud products. Sandeepa has experience in leading geographically distributed cross-disciplinary teams and collaborating with cross-organization teams to build large-scale enterprise applications. She has product development knowledge using technologies surrounding Cloud Computing and Services Platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Currently, Sandeepa is the VP of Engineering at KredX, where she is responsible for Product Engineering, Data Engineering, and Delivery of the Invoice Discounting marketplace. She has established Development, CICD, DevOps, and Security practices, recruited, led, and mentored the engineering team comprising Development, CloudOps, Data, and QA engineers. Sandeepa has collaborated with cross-functional teams and external partners ensuring product delivery and optimizing Cloud Infrastructure for performance, scale, cost, and security practices. She has achieved finalist entry to the India finals of the AWS Startup Architecture Challenge 2020. Previously, Sandeepa has worked as an Engineering Manager at Practo, where she led the engineering efforts in the Data BU. She has also worked as an Associate Manager- Technology Architect at CSC, where she managed the implementation of the public health information portal for the Canadian Province, British Columbia. Sandeepa has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. She has expertise in Senior Software Engineer, AWS, Data Engineering, Web, Integration, Azure, Big Data, QA, Product Manager, DevOps, Mobile, and Infra.
