Sandesh Gupta is a Key Account Manager at Unilever, where he manages the modern trade key accounts business with prominent national retailers. He is a salesperson at heart and an adventurer and learner who is passionate about shaping Bharat. Sandesh has extensive experience in managing sales and operations for Unilever's largest institutional business customer in South Asia, spanning across 11 states with a business size of 300 CR plus. He has turned around the East India business, making it one of the highest growing branches in the business. Sandesh has also managed large teams consisting of executives, territory sales officers, and hundreds of field force members. He focused on creating a high-performing team, and three of his team members were felicitated for Best Execution, Growth, and MT Hero Award. Two of his team members were promoted during his tenure. Before joining Unilever, Sandesh was a Manager for Digital Payment Solution at ICICI Bank. He managed large corporate accounts with a focus on account mining and business development. He built long-term and profitable relationships with clients, onboarded new clients and third-party resellers for gift cards, ETC, MWC, etc., and successfully closed complex contract negotiations. Sandesh pitched products to C-level executives like CFO, CEO, MD, and managed large vendors/channel partners to achieve business objectives. Sandesh holds an Executive Education degree in Negotiation and Influence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce degree from Econsultancy, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from International Management Institute - IMI, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from the University of Rajasthan.
