Sandhya Vinjam is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in building high-scale distributed systems. Currently, she is working with DoorDash as a Software Engineer, specifically on the DoorDash Drive platform team. Sandhya's expertise lies in the domain of Backend Engineering, where she has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. She has previously worked with Facebook as a Software Engineer, where she was responsible for building reliable, high-scale security solutions to maintain the integrity of data across Facebook Infra. At Facebook, Sandhya owned services like the Certificate Authority service that attests identities (users, services, and hosts) in different networks, provided a secure platform to sign all production binaries, and several projects to improve reliability (DR ready, LoadShedding), among others. Before joining DoorDash, Sandhya also worked with Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where she implemented backend services that managed the product life cycle of all Amazon devices from launch to bulk scales to offline retail partners. Sandhya holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, which she completed in 2015.
