Sandip Ganage is a highly skilled Senior Product Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the fields of Data Science, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). Currently, he is working at Wolters Kluwer, where he is responsible for developing and implementing advanced machine learning algorithms and models for medical imaging projects. Sandip has a strong background in algorithm development and porting for parallel processing architecture such as GPGPU using CUDA. He has practical knowledge of CUDA, CuDNN, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning, which he applies in his work on histopathological images. Sandip has experience in using various Machine Learning models and algorithms such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Artificial Neural Nets, Convolution Neural Nets (Deep Learning), and Object Detection. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at AIRA Matrix, Sandip was responsible for GPU-based algorithm development using NVIDIA CUDA and CUDNN. He designed and implemented a parallel efficient framework of Multi-Node Multi-GPU framework using Altair’s PBS-Pro and Slurm. He also trained, validated, and ported deep learning models for Object Detection/Classification, Pattern Recognition, and Instance-based image Segmentation of Histopathological images. Sandip optimized deep learning model performance using Nvidia TensorRT. Sandip started his career as a Quality Analyst at Cognizant, where he worked on Automation Testing using Selenium on eWMS – a web-based application. He holds a Master’s degree in MTech - Information Technology from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vishnupuri, Nanded, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.
