Sandipan Mitra is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pice, a fintech startup that aims to revolutionize B2B payments in India by making them as seamless and efficient as UPI payments. With over 7 years of experience in fintech, Sandipan has a customer-centric approach to product building and is well-versed in various fintech verticals such as payments, cards, financial process automation, GST, and line of credit. Prior to Pice, Sandipan was the VP and Head of Products at Open Financial Technologies, where he led products for merchants and new offerings for the company. During his tenure, Open grew from $1.5 million to $500 million as a company, and Sandipan scaled the product team to 25+ to handle growth. He also conceptualized OpenBook, a product that went from concept to GTM in just 90 days with a team of 12. Open grew from $1 billion txn volume to $25 billion annualized, and from 100,000 to 1.5 million merchants under Sandipan's leadership. Sandipan also co-founded Stockable, a SaaS platform that connects SEBI registered investment advisors and investors. While at Stockable, he launched several product suites, including an AI-driven chrome plugin for stock fundamentals, news, updates, and alerts, a SaaS platform for RIAs, and a platform for investors. Although Stockable failed to find product-market fit and shut down, Sandipan's experience there gave him valuable insights into the startup world. Sandipan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology and a High School degree in Computer Science from Maria's Day School Howrah.
