Sangeeta Jorapur is a senior software engineer with over a decade of experience in the software industry. She is currently working at Dell EMC as a Senior Software Engineer, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining CloudBoost and Networker, two data protection software products. Sangeeta has a strong background in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Java script. She is also proficient in UNIX, Data Structure, Multi Threading, REST, and SOAP web services. Her technical expertise extends to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as databases like MSSQL. In her current role at Dell EMC, Sangeeta has been instrumental in the development of CloudBoost, an appliance that performs backup of data to cloud. She has also worked on Networker, a data protection software product that enables backup of data to tape, disk-based storage media. Her work on Networker includes developing RESTful APIs that act as an interface to the user who uses Networker for client, storage node management, backup, and recovery. She has also provided RESTAPIs for different database applications such as SAP HANA and MSSQL for database backup and recovery. Prior to her current role, Sangeeta worked at Hewlett Packard and Huawei as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Developer, respectively. At Huawei, she worked on a product called U2000, which is a client-server centralized network management system. Her work on U2000 included developing a performance management system (PMS) that measures performance parameters of network devices. Sangeeta holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Basaveshwara Engineering College, Bagalkot. She also attended St. Anne's Convent High School, Bagalkot.
