Sangeeta Singh is a highly experienced backend developer with over 8 years of experience in developing highly scalable software on cloud. She has a strong focus on Golang, Python, and C++ and is always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities. Currently, Sangeeta is working as a Software Intern at McAfee, where she is responsible for developing Java backend applications for the antivirus team in virtual environments. Prior to her current role, Sangeeta has worked as a Software Engineer at Verifone, where she developed Point, a payment-as-a-service solution that simplifies EMV adoption and maintenance and fosters rapid integration of mobile wallets and emerging payments. She has also worked as a Systems Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard, where she worked on projects related to OpenVMS TCPIP services and implemented parts of storage and security protocols like CIFS and kerberos. She has also executed POCs like building a command line interface from scratch to plug OpenVMS into OpenStack Swift, a cloud service. Sangeeta holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. She has a diverse tech stack and is proficient in software engineering, Golang, Salesforce, AWS, backend development, Java, microservices, Terraform, Python, CI/CD, RabbitMQ, MySQL, ETL, ECS, Docker, Kafka, and infra. Sangeeta is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce and is always looking for new challenges to further develop her skills and expertise.
