Sangeetha Gomatam is a Product Designer at Duo Security who strongly believes in user-centric design. She is passionate about creating simple solutions for everyday problems and loves exploring the value of wild ideas. With a background in Computer Science, Sangeetha has worked as a full-stack developer for over 2 years and built data visualizations to help stadiums (Eagles, Florida Panthers) track their network performance. Currently, Sangeetha is pursuing her graduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Human-Computer Interaction. She has also worked as a Graduate Student Instructor at the university, where she was a Teaching Assistant for a graduate-level programming course on SQL, Django, and Web App development. Her responsibilities included leading discussion sections of 20 graduate students each, explaining programming concepts, running in-class exercises, holding office hours, and grading. She is responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the company's products. Her expertise in design, coupled with her technical background, allows her to bridge the gap between design and development, resulting in products that are not only visually appealing but also functional.
