Sangeetha Guhan is a CloudOps Engineer at Egnyte with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. She is currently leading the migration of Egnyte components to Microsoft Azure through Infrastructure Automation as code using Terraform. Sangeetha has also implemented an anomaly detection application using Python in Prometheus for Kafka metrics and deployed the application in K8 cluster. Her expertise includes containerizing applications using Docker and deploying them on K8s using Helm charts. Sangeetha has hands-on experience in building custom VM images using Packer for GCP Predictive VM autoscaling to reduce VM initialization time. She has also built Monitoring/Logging dashboards for VM autoscaling project in Grafana. Sangeetha is experienced with Puppet for writing modules for applications and debugging any configuration changes. Prior to joining Egnyte, Sangeetha worked as a Cloud Engineer at SAP where she implemented an infrastructure automation framework that included provisioning Azure VMs with microservices components like Networking, Monitoring tools, API-management, Delivery Tools, etc. She also designed and built a Jenkins Master-Slave setup for SDO (Service Delivery Operations) across large-scale distributed systems. Sangeetha automated and monitored services related to load tests, applications operations, and cloud deployments using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Sangeetha has also worked as a Member Technical Staff (DevOps) at 24/7.ai where she was experienced in implementing self-service E2E build, release, and deployment processes using Jenkins CICD Templates. She developed a UI automation suite for [24]7.ai Speech Platform using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework. Sangeetha performed Scrum Master duties for her team to help them focus and manage the workflow of backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint retrospection. Sangeetha holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Theoretical Computer Science from PSG College of Technology. She also has a Middle & High School degree from Sitadevi Garodia Hindu Vidhyalaya and an Elementary School degree from Muthiah Alagappa Matriculation Higher Secondary school, Karaikudi.
