Sanjana Ganesh is a hardworking and focused individual with a passion for exploring new and exciting things in technology. She has over 1 year of experience working as a Technical Analyst for the leading global bank Citi, providing financial services to the Institutional Clients. During her time at Citi, she built fully functional REST APIs in Java for data standardizations and handled big data aggregations on the Hadoop cluster for the Foreign Exchange and Local Market Unit. Currently, Sanjana is working as part of the largest data warehouse, GIW in Trades and Treasury Solutions, managing the Vanguard big data cluster and automating billing processes as part of Global Billing Systems. Sanjana graduated in 2020 from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai, with a B.E Electronics and Communication degree with first-class distinction. During her college days, she was the Basketball Team captain and Core Organizer of the national level sports fest, SSN Trophy. She was also an Organizer of the nation-wide tech fest, Invente, and the Entrepreneurship Cell’s flagship event, Mela. Sanjana is actively searching for SDE and Data Engineer internships for Summer 2023. She is currently pursuing a Master of Information Systems Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University, which will be completed by December 2023. Her tech stack includes Big Data, SQL, Java, Data Engineering, Software Engineer, Kafka, Hadoop, Data Warehouse, Spring, MongoDB, and Deep Learning. Sanjana's experience includes working as an Analyst - Rates Technology at Citi India, where she performed standardizations of 1 million plus data received from risk systems using various Big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Apache Flume. She also developed APIs using Java and Spring framework to trigger notification recon processes. Additionally, she migrated the tech stack of an existing data loader project from Apache Nifi to Kafka and Flume to support batch processing. Sanjana has also worked as an intern at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, where she performed a detailed literature survey on how deep learning can be implemented in reducing computer network traffic and intrusion and increasing security using NIDS. Overall, Sanjana is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in technology and a passion for exploring new and exciting things.
