Sanjana Goel is a Software Engineer II at Intuit with a passion for learning and leveraging technology to deliver user-driven quality results. She is an aspiring undergraduate and a competitive programming enthusiast, with 2.61 years of relevant experience. Sanjana is a co-founder of QuickSort, a platform that guides aspiring undergrads to prepare for interviews by participating in simulating interview environments. She started with a novel idea of conducting free mock interviews for budding female engineers of her college, which soon expanded to conducting free mock interviews, mock contests, webinars, inspiring virtual talks, and sharing success stories. Sanjana's responsibilities as a QuickSort founder include managing a network of 15 interview panelists, ensuring a seamless experience for users by building a website catering to all the deliverables in one place, curating content for flagship events, and supervising the QuickSort Outreach team responsible for disseminating ideas, engagements on media, inter-college collaborations, and tie-ups to establish the platform's presence across colleges. In these unprecedented times, Sanjana accelerated QuickSort's operations and conducted 100+ mock interviews, positively impacting hundreds of students across India. Sanjana also interned with Intuit as a Software Engineer Intern, where she worked with the Team Identity, a vertical under the Intuit Platform business group that resonates with Intuit Tech Bet 2.5. She provided a new decision-based declarative authorization capability that unifies ABAC and RBAC and is built using the Identity 2.0 data model. Sanjana worked to build the 'AuthZ Android SDK', an easy to integrate feature-rich library that can be integrated with any Intuit native mobile application and enable them to make authorized calls to AuthZ Decision Service over OAuth2 protocol. She built a demo blogging application importing the library as a dependency, demonstrating different access permissions to resources based on RBAC. Sanjana defined Rego policy that is stored in Open Policy Agent, which generates the decision by evaluating the query input against the policy. The project not only brought an opportunity to explore the trending technologies but also helped her analyze the business impact it may yield.
