Sanjay Gandhi is a highly experienced C++, Python, and JavaScript developer with over 11 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Director of Engineering at Jupiter, where he is leading the team responsible for building India's best mobile banking experience. Sanjay's team is focused on new account openings, payments, and core platforms. Prior to joining Jupiter, Sanjay co-founded EasyPlan India, where he served as the CTO and full-stack developer. EasyPlan is a financial advice platform that helps young Indians invest safely in mutual funds, and it is backed by Y Combinator. Sanjay's experience at EasyPlan gave him the skills to build software that provides financial advice at scale to every Indian. Before founding EasyPlan, Sanjay spent over 4 years at Tower Research Capital, a leading high-frequency trading firm in New York. During his time at Tower Research Capital, Sanjay built out much of their custom trading infrastructure, gaining extensive experience working with distributed systems and highly concurrent code bases. Sanjay's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University and attendance at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. His tech stack includes senior software engineering, Python, JavaScript, research scientist, mobile, infra, test, and QA.
