Sanjay Jain is a seasoned Head of Engineering with over 17 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently leading the engineering team at FreeCharge, a subsidiary of Axis Bank, where he is responsible for building one of the most interesting FinTechs in India. Sanjay is a dynamic leader who has built the engineering team from scratch for the Mumbai location. He has extensive experience in building InsureTech and simplifying insurance buying journeys. Sanjay has also built data engineer, data science, front-end, back-end, product, design (UX/UI), QA, Android, iOS, and analytic teams from scratch. He is an experienced mobile software architect and developer at the OS and application levels. Sanjay has led the development of a number of first-to-market Android OS enhancements and has architected, developed, and shipped large, complex mobile products that have been deployed by telecom operators, OEMs, and silicon vendors worldwide. Prior to joining FreeCharge, Sanjay worked at HDFC, where he served as Senior VP Engineering - ADCAT and Head of Engineering - ADCAT. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. Sanjay's tech stack includes senior software engineer, Android, mobile, data engineering, QA, data scientist, iOS, UI, frontend, and backend. He is a highly skilled professional with a proven track record of success in the technology industry.
