With over 32 years of experience, he is a seasoned professional in the field of innovation and product development. His current role at Bharat Innovation Fund involves supporting IP-led innovation in India and helping the cause of inclusion through the Bharat Inclusion Initiative. He is also focused on supporting innovation and products at scale. Before joining Bharat Innovation Fund, Sanjay played a key role in building products at scale for Aadhaar, Unified Payment Interface, India Stack, and Google Map Maker. He has also served as the Chairman of the Technology Committee at MOSIP, a modular open-source identity platform that helps governments implement a digital, foundational ID in a cost-effective way while embracing the best practices of scalability, security, and privacy harnessing the power of open source. Sanjay's education history includes a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, an MS in Computer Science from UCLA, and he also attended Atomic Energy Junior College and Atomic Energy Central School. As a President of IITB Alumni Association, Bangalore Chapter, Sanjay has been actively involved in the alumni community.
