Sanjay Mukherjee is a seasoned professional with over 26 years of experience in the CPG and distribution sector. Currently, he holds the position of Head Consumer & Distribution Sector Business- Major Markets at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In his current role, Sanjay is responsible for driving sales and services growth, acquiring new logos, increasing market share and portfolio performance, managing business financials (P&L) and cashflow. He has a cross-section of clients from various industries such as tobacco, HPC, beverages, consumer electronics, apparel & footwear, luxury brands, greetings, electronics, distribution and logistics. Sanjay is also an advisory member of the Innovator Accelerator program and technology startups. His expertise in the industry has helped him to build partnerships and enhance IT services business from the sector in Europe and global clients. He has led geography sales and presales teams across DACH, Benelux, Continental Europe, UK and offshore teams in India. Prior to joining TCS, Sanjay worked with HCL UK as Director - Retail, CPG and Manufacturing Business, Europe. He was responsible for business development, service introduction, managing client relationships, and building partnerships. He also led geography sales and presales teams across DACH, Benelux, Continental Europe, UK and offshore teams in India. Before that, he worked with HCL as General Manager - IT Transformation Consulting Practice (Global). As Practice Lead, he was responsible for building service offerings, creation of IP and delivery accelerators, and managing unit operations. He led a team of 250+ consultants. Sanjay completed his ISC from Calcutta Boys' School in 1990. His educational background in Science has helped him to understand the technical aspects of the industry. With his extensive experience and expertise, Sanjay has become a well-respected figure in the CPG and distribution sector.
