Previously, he handled App, Tech, Data, and Infra at Paytm Group and scaled several product engineering organizations to build a world-class super app. With extensive experience in building startups from the ground up and running large and complex teams in the internet, multimedia, and telecom domains, Sanjay possesses a deep background in business and technology leadership. Sanjay's past experience includes working as the CTO & CIO of Paytm, where he was responsible for disrupting banking and building the bank of the future from the ground up. He also worked as the SVP Technology & Engineering at Paytm, where he led a diverse team of 600+ high-end product engineers across backend, apps and web, data infra and AI/ML, SRE & DevOps across several digital verticals. Sanjay holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and a B.E in Electronics & Communications from IIT.
