Sanjib Panigrahi is a highly skilled problem solver with expertise in building machine learning and deep learning models. With almost 9 years of relevant experience, Sanjib has a passion for exploring problem and solution spaces backed by extensive research and stakeholder interaction. As a leader, he aims to create a synergy of goals, priorities, motivation, contribution, support, teamwork, and recognition to achieve success. Currently, Sanjib is the VP of Data Science and AI at creditvidya, where he leads a team that has received several awards, including the 2019 Best AI Startup award from India Fintech Forum, the 2018 Gartner's Cool Vendor in AI for Fintech in Asia/Pacific, and the 2017 Amazon India AI Conclave Award in Fintech category. Prior to his current role, Sanjib worked as a Trainee Decision Scientist at Mu Sigma, where he gained experience in design thinking, extreme experimentation, and learning over knowing. He was involved in several projects, including mimicking the brain, credit risk scorecards for businesses spread over 85 countries across the globe, a decision board to provide intuitive insights and credit limit recommendations, and a low-dimensional heuristic self-evolving balance sheet simulator. Sanjib holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He is proficient in several technologies, including AI, senior software engineering, research science, ML, deep learning, Python, NLP, Spark, neural networks, SQL, blockchain, Keras, RNN, and Scala.
