Sanjit Jain is a highly skilled Data Scientist with over 3 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, he is working as a Data Scientist-2 at ShareChat, India's leading in-house social media platform and short video-app. His main responsibilities include working on Feed Recommendation, Personalisation, and Content Understanding. Sanjit has a BTech in Computer Science from LNM Institute of Technology. He has thorough knowledge and hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Recommender Systems, Nearest Neighbours Search Algorithms, Deep Learning, and Multimodal Learning. He is proficient in various technologies such as SQL, Deep Learning, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, TensorFlow, Python, Golang, AWS, Information Retrieval, Image Processing, MySQL, Jenkins, Microservices, and Pytorch. In his previous role at Sharechat as a Data Science Engineer, Sanjit worked on various projects such as Field-Aware Factorization Machines, Recommender Systems, Personalisation, Feed AI, and Duplicate Detection. He developed Fast 3D Video models to generate rich video representations and improved on existing Topic Hierarchy Classification and Tag Prediction models for better content understanding. Sanjit also scaled the Nearest Neighbour Search to 100 million vectors for real-time duplicate detection. He built tools to visualise Feed Recommendation and was responsible for various end-to-end machine learning pipelines for Sharechat and Moj. As a Data Science Intern at Sharechat, Sanjit worked on Multi-Modal Learning, Feature Extraction, Unsupervised Learning, and Large-Scale Similarity Search. He built a multi-modal learning system (text, audio, video, images) that is used for Tag Prediction and Tag Filtering. Sanjit also worked on efficient and fast feature extraction for video and audio content on the Sharechat and Moj content platform. He worked on various clustering algorithms to cluster similar posts and build a module for recommendation and duplicate detection. Sanjit is a quick learner and has excellent communication skills.
