Sanju Burkule is an AI Sales Assistant who specializes in lead follow-ups, sales coordination, and email validation. He believes that poor quality follow-ups are a primary reason for not achieving higher sales numbers. Sanju has identified four common mistakes that teams make when following up with leads. Firstly, they only follow-up with hot leads and leave out 90% of non-HOT leads. Secondly, they judge too quickly and overthink whether to follow-up with a lead or not. Thirdly, they take too long to respond, which can cause the lead to forget the context. Lastly, they send impersonal follow-ups, which can result in poor conversion rates. Sanju has founded 7Targets, a company that uses AI Sales Assistants to engage leads and nurture them until they become warm/hot. The AI assistant responds to emails and answers basic questions, sending brochures within five minutes of a lead showing interest. The assistant classifies leads into cold, warm, and hot, and sends only hot leads to salespeople. This process eliminates the time salespeople spend on email follow-ups, allowing them to focus on negotiating and closing deals. Sanju has worked as a Chief Mentor at Applied AI Consulting, where he helped companies use AI effectively. He focused on the marketing domain as the first business area of improvement, helping mid-sized to large companies apply AI technologies to their marketing teams. Sanju also worked as the VP of Business Development at Hitachi Vantara, where he helped accelerate enterprise cloud adoption through automation and XaaS. Sanju has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Symbiosis and a Master of Computer Science (MCS) from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He also has a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) from Fergusson College. Sanju's tech stack includes AI, research science, NLP, and senior software engineering.
