Sankal Yadav is a final year undergraduate student at IIT Kharagpur with a passion for product management and a strong background in data engineering. With almost a year of relevant experience, he has worked with companies like MyCaptain, Datalytics, and Finlatics in various roles. Currently, Sankal is working as a Technology Product Manager at MyCaptain, where he is responsible for developing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) web app. He has investigated functional API documentaries of two prime tracking software and identified and resolved various frontend-related bugs and problems with the Mobile Application, Admin dashboard, and webpages. He has documented the explicit product discovery, end-to-end product planning, and complete roadmap of the ATS along with a user engagement flowchart. Sankal has used tools like Figma, Notion, FigJAM, and Bubble.io to develop the web app. In his previous role as a Data Engineer at Datalytics, Sankal developed a coherent workspace to automate various analytical tasks such as API requests, data visualization, and analytical modeling on a single click. He retrieved and examined the company's portfolio using Yahoo finance API to generate automated analysis of financial reports in JSON and PPT format. He has used tools and libraries like Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Requests, and MS PowerPoint. Before that, Sankal worked as a Trading Analyst at Finlatics, where he traded among various small, mid, and large-cap companies listed in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE 500) and earned a net virtual profit of INR 100000. He effectuated Porter's Five Forces framework to analyze and evaluate the competitive strength and the position of business organization in the market. He drafted a detailed research and market analysis on 2 InfoTech services and 2 food & beverage enterprises. He was awarded a Letter of Appreciation for being among top performers for maintaining the Portfolio Finscore of 100 and overall Research rate of 85%. Sankal has a Bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur, which he will complete in 2023. He has a strong tech stack, including product management, data engineering, mobile, frontend, web, AI, Python, Pandas, and integration.
