Sankalp Malhotra is a Senior Software Engineer - Developer at SAP Labs India with a total of 6.02 years of relevant experience. He is a Software Development Engineer with a keen interest in robust coding and product development. Currently, he is working on a Process Automation product and contributes towards the SDK and the framework of the software which can be used by Bot developers to create Automations. Sankalp possesses a good hands-on experience in creating and implementing web applications. He enjoys being challenged and engages with projects that require him to work outside his comfort zone. His professional experience includes bringing the software design to life through Angular, Prime-Ng, and Bootstrap, also by building robust and optimized Back End micro-services on C# .Net/ Java/ Node JS, etc., hence creating a stellar finished product. In his current role at SAP, Sankalp is working on the core framework development of SAP's Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (IRPA) Software. SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation uses intelligent bots to automate repetitive manual processes. As the robotic process automation layer of SAP’s Business Technology Platform, it can redirect resources to high-value activities and processes. Prior to SAP, Sankalp worked at Philips as a Software Engineer II FULL STACK and Software Development Engineer I. He was responsible for creating high-quality working software, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement. He also designed, coded, documented, tested (automated), maintained, and deployed software. Sankalp holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from Inderprastha Engineering College. He completed his high school (grade 10) and intermediate (grade 12) from Mercy Memorial School, where he studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Sankalp's technical skills include Software Engineering, Backend, NodeJS, Web, UI, Frontend, Microservices, Test, Integration, Java, AngularJS, and DevOps.
