Sankalp Modi is a highly skilled Analytics professional with expertise in Cognition, Data, Behaviour, and Decision Sciences. Currently, he is working as a Senior Business Analyst at Khatabook, where he is part of the Central Analytics initiative. Sankalp works closely with the CEO's office to track the company's health, report investor metrics, and provide MIS reports. He is responsible for developing a model to predict Khatabook customers' monthly income from their reported ledger on the platform, with a 74% accuracy rate, validating KB ledger data and its use for Risk Assessment. Prior to Khatabook, Sankalp worked as a Consultant - Customer Analytics at Tredence, where he developed supervised machine learning models for churn prediction along with four segments of executable strategies to prevent churn. He also worked on customer journey analytics, defining customer segments and classifying behavior based on KPIs crafted for specific use cases. At Tredence, he was also responsible for clustering users into segments for implementation of catered targeting. Sankalp is also a Co-Founder of Tapri, a food start-up that sprouted out of Vellore and expanded to Manipal & Chennai. He initiated Tapri as an experiment for understanding consumer behavior and decision-making processes. He also enhanced customer engagement within user groups using artificial scarcity of offered freebies. Sankalp holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Instrumentation from VIT and a Post Graduate Program in Data Science & Business Analytics from GLIM. He also holds a MicroMasters in Data, Economics & Developmental Policy from MITx on edX. Additionally, he has a High School degree in Science from Chinmaya Vidyalaya.
