Sankalp has over 6 years of relevant experience in the industry and has worked with some of the top companies in the field. Sankalp's expertise lies in developing and deploying microservices-based applications on Kubernetes platforms. He is proficient in Golang, Python, and Java and has a strong understanding of data structures and backend development. Sankalp is also an open-source contributor and has contributed to several projects, including developing a scalable API gateway for API management based on the Kubernetes platform. Sankalp's previous experience includes working as a Software Developer II at SAP, where he developed features to bring multi-tenancy support over PostgresQL database service, worked on a fellowship project with SAP labs Sophia Antipolis-France to monitor vineyard fields using machine learning and time-series analysis methods, and developed helm charts for installing and managing Kubernetes applications. He also introduced a worker-pool in the micro-service to control concurrency-limit, which prevents memory-leak and implemented JWT public-key refresh with a back-off algorithm for API gateway. Sankalp has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
