Sankalp Singh is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for exploring and experimenting with new technologies to solve complex engineering problems. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, where he is conducting research in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Sankalp has extensive experience in software development and has worked on a variety of projects, including architecting software systems for the provider experience team at Urbanclap. As a lead on the team, he was responsible for coding, advising interns, coordinating with product managers, tracking post-production metrics, and driving business impact. He also designed utilities that are now used across the engineering platform as better alternatives to some of the obvious open source options available. Prior to his work at Urbanclap, Sankalp was a Software Engineer at Snapdeal's recommendation team, where he contributed significantly to analyzing, migrating, and optimizing their Hadoop jobs. He has a deep understanding of distributed systems and is always eager to learn and explore deeper. Currently, Sankalp is a Software Engineer at Apple, working on AI/ML Search, Recommendations, and Personalization for Siri Music. He has a strong technical background in AI, ML, Search, Hadoop, Computer Vision, and AWS, making him a valuable asset to any team. Sankalp has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, University of Delhi, and a High School degree in Maths and Computers from Vidyatree Modern World College. He is a highly motivated and result-oriented individual with 3.86 years of relevant experience.
