Sanket Berde is a seasoned technologist with over 7 years of experience in software engineering and architecture. He is currently the Co-Founder and C.T.O. at BlackCurrant Labs Pvt Ltd., where he leads the development of innovative solutions that can scale up with the "Media Scale" and handle traffic spikes while still providing a fast and consistent user experience. Sanket is also a Solutions Architect at Splainer, a premium paid news service that delivers the most relevant news from around the world straight to your inbox. He has been involved with the founders of Splainer in past projects and has teamed up with them to build this product from the ground up. Before joining BlackCurrant Labs and Splainer, Sanket worked as a Principal Software Consultant at Stulz India, where he consulted and developed a project for breakdown maintenance of industrial air conditioners with geo-tagged deployments and real-time tracking of technicians. He also built air conditioning specific products configurators with complex thermodynamic calculations for internal use. Sanket also served as a Principal System Architect at Stylenook, where he designed the software stack for stylenook.in, a styling service for working women. This involved getting acquainted with the retail online industry, catalog exchange formats, logistics planning, inventory management, and making statistical and AI-based models of customers for predicting their shopping patterns and body-sizing given very limited inputs. Sanket holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Thakur College of Engineering and Technology and completed his High School education at Swami Vivekanand International School and Junior College. He is proficient in AWS, CI/CD, Django, and AI, and has extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
