Sanket Meshram is a final year student pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is an experienced software engineer with a deep understanding of C++ Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and Operating Systems. Sanket has a huge interest in programming, problem-solving, software development, and systems. He is a former SDE Intern at Google, where he worked with the vehicle listing ads team on the project of extracting related cars. Sanket developed the retrieval and ranking criteria for related cars based on various features such as price, mileage, energy impact score, etc. He has exposure to Google Knowledge Graph, gRPC, PathQuery, and Unit Testing. Sanket has worked on various projects around Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, and Networks. He has qualified for 2 ICPC regionals on the first attempt in the past, wherein he had a great learning experience. Sanket has also worked with Enthire as a Back End Developer, where he implemented API calls and developed the auto-filling of the database with resume data in JavaScript using Sequelize, express-validator. He also worked with JSON-LD for extracting the skill-occupation ontology Graph efficiently from a large size JSON file. Additionally, Sanket worked with Bewgle as an NLP Engineer, where he implemented Animated Bar Chart Race using Matplotlib and Average sentiment scoring function for reviews on Amazon using VADER. He also worked on a gender detection model built using decision tree and fuzzy string matching. Sanket's education history includes a Dual degree (BTech + MTech) in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur. He has relevant experience of 1.86 years and possesses skills like Software Engineering, Backend, Test, JavaScript, and NLP. Sanket is a Regionalist of ACM ICPC'19 and has a great passion for learning new technologies.
