Sanket Sahu is an experienced Big Data Engineer with a proven track record in the computer software industry. He is skilled in Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and AWS, and has a strong background in information technology. Sanket holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Currently, Sanket works as a Software Engineer III at Google, where he applies his expertise in Big Data to create innovative solutions. Prior to joining Google, he worked at Intuit as a Data Engineer II, where he actively contributed to critical modules of the Data Ingestion Platform. Sanket was involved in the end-to-end design and development of Materializer, a Spark Batch Process, and implemented innovative Spark optimization techniques to achieve higher throughput with reduced cost. He also contributed to real-time ingestion of change capture events from multiple RDBMS systems through Kafka Connect platform. At Capillary, Sanket worked as a Software Development Engineer II - Big Data, where he co-developed the design and structure of a state-of-the-art multi-tenant recommender system.
