Santanu Bhattacharjee is a Senior Chief Engineer in Data Intelligence Lab at Samsung Research. With over 10 years of experience in the field of data analytics, he has witnessed the evolution of technologies from floppy disks to cloud systems and from Hadoop MapReduce to Spark. Santanu is passionate about solving business-critical problems using data-driven approaches and building data products using AI-based technologies. Santanu has a strong background in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java, and is well-versed in Python libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and NLTK, among others. He has expertise in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, CNN, RNN, LSTM, and ResNet. Additionally, he has experience in using visualization tools such as Tableau, D3.js, and Google Fusion Tables. Prior to his current role at Samsung, Santanu has worked as a Data Scientist at IBM and a Senior AI Engineer at Sweepr. At IBM, he worked on developing ML algorithms for network issue prediction and resolution recommendation. At Sweepr, he was responsible for finding approaches to solve the connected home problem by researching and developing user intent analysis while describing connected home issues. Santanu is a graduate of Dublin City University, where he obtained a Master of Science in Data Analytics and Computer Science. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Jadavpur University. Santanu is a research scientist with experience in ML, AI, Spark, AWS, ResNet, Data Science, Python, Keras, CNN, RNN, Java, NLP, Scikit, MapReduce, Javascript, Tensorflow, Pandas, Hadoop, Pytorch, Azure, Mobile, Docker, and MySQL. He has relevant experience of over 10 years in the field of data analytics.
