Santanu Pradhan is an accomplished AVP Risk Analytics with over 14 years of experience in the finance industry. Currently working at IndiaLends, he is responsible for managing the risk analytics function and driving strategic initiatives to optimize business performance. Prior to his current role, Santanu worked at Gain Credit as Senior Manager Risk Analytics, where he owned the overall risk and fraud management for the subprime lending product, Lending Stream, a leading payday lending business in the UK. He provided guidance to the team to develop acquisition scorecards and behavioral models to predict the propensity to go bad at different stages of a customer life cycle. He also worked as Senior Manager, where he managed the transition of the customer care center and handled the re-organization of the database during the transition. He managed contracts with new vendors as well as internal projects. Santanu's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Statistics from IIT and a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama. He also holds Higher Secondary and Secondary degrees from Hare School and Baranagar Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School, respectively.
