Santhosh Ramachandran is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer at Google with more than 20 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining world-class products ranging from reusable libraries to high scale distributed systems. He has worked on multiple technologies like Java, .Net, C++, etc. and has demonstrated the ability to quickly adapt to any technology platform. Santhosh is a good team player with the ability to rally the team to achieve its goals with utmost quality. He is currently working at Google as a Staff Software Engineer in the Creative Quality for Discovery Ads team. Prior to joining Google, Santhosh worked at Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer in the Microsoft Viva Insights team. At Microsoft, Santhosh was responsible for reviewing technical design of upcoming features, code reviews of features under development, mentoring senior engineers in the team, identifying strategic platformization opportunities in the product, and leading the end-to-end design and development of the same. He also continuously improved the agility of the team by improving the development process and engineering systems. The team had about 50 developers globally with about half of them in India. Santhosh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. His tech stack includes Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Java, and Azure. With his diverse experience and expertise in software engineering, Santhosh is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
